Sun Valley, Idaho

Sun Valley, Idaho is one of my favorite places to visit—no matter the season! This year, for Nona’s annual birthday trip, we returned to the land of “winter sports under a summer sun.” Sun Valley holds a very special place in our hearts—it’s where we spent high school spring breaks, where Papa first learned to ski, and where we’ve made countless family memories over the years.

We stayed at the iconic Sun Valley Lodge, enjoyed dinner at Gretchen’s, lunch at The Vintage, and indulged in a bit of fun shopping. Our dear friend Joan lives there too, so it’s always a joy to spend time with her. It’s always hard to say goodbye, but I’m already counting down the days until my next trip back to magical Sun Valley.
