Flight 93 National Memorial
Words cannot describe the emotional feeling that the Flight 93 National Memorial conveys. Sam and I silently absorbed the park independently and were overcome by its power. Sam learned all about 9/11 from his Histories and Mysteries class this year and afterwards, taught me a few new facts about this beyond impactful day.
We started off the day with low tire pressure in one tire and are very thankful to Sheetz Inc. for outfitting all of their gas stations with air pumps. Sam and I filled it four times during the day. And each time, it kept loosing PSI faster. So we punted on our last few parks and headed to the hotel … after filling the tire one last time. I called Budget and they sent me a text that a new car was available at the local airport. Time to put the feet up and enjoy the afternoon.
And to celebrate this impactful park (and day of not getting a flat tire), once I got to the hotel to add my stamp, I realized I achieved my official first “Full Page Spread” of filling in two full pages!
