Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area

Part II of our Spring Break Road Trip brought us to Neskowin, our favorite beach town. We planned a fun adventure with Lola and Kit to Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area. I was expecting a creek and it over delivered with a beach, rock formations, agate and mussel hunting and a ton of fun.

Explore more at stateparks.oregon.gov … Where the creek and ocean meet, you'll find a grassy day-use area and access to a cliff-rimmed beach. Discover this park's perfect wind-sheltered picnic areas. In case of rain, head for the covered picnic shelter. Walk the wooden footbridges arching through the Sitka spruce, western hemlock, shore pine and alder forest. At the beach, a lazy creek flows into the sea, cutting through an enchanting scenic ocean cove. This park has great birdwatching and tidepools to explore.

Auntie Lola declares Ryder the GOAT! I think I am close to convincing him that nature rocks.
