Humbug Mountain State Park

We are contemplating hiking Humbug Mountain tomorrow rather than going to more parks. We thought it was a 5.5 mile hike up as noted on the Oregon State Parks page, making for an 11 mile hike. But now we think that longer distance noted must be for the entire hiking area and we are excited for a shorter hike. The little boys are not big hikers like Mak and I … so we are currently negotiating with them over dinner. We’ll report back tomorrow!

Update … the rains came, so we opted for more park hopping today. With our limited time of four days and three nights, Part I of our Spring Break 2021 Road Trip is becoming more of a scouting mission for what we need to do when we come back next time.
