March 2026 + Make Time for the Ones You Love
March 2026 reminded me of a simple but powerful truth: make time for the people you love.
On our way to Mexico for Sam’s senior-year spring break, we left a few days early so we could spend some precious time with Mak in Los Angeles. Though our visit was brief, it was filled with the kind of everyday moments that become lasting memories. We played pickleball, the guys enjoyed some time at the beach, and we gathered with friends for a wonderful dinner at MB Post, one of our favorite restaurants in Southern California. We also made the obligatory trip to Costco Wholesale and topped off Mak’s gas tank before saying goodbye.
These small acts of care and connection meant even more because Mak will soon head to the High Sierras for his new job, and we likely won’t see him again until the fall. That made our short time together especially meaningful.
Afterward, Sam and I continued on to Mexico, where we had an unforgettable spring break with dear friends, creating even more memories filled with laughter, adventure, and gratitude.
If March taught me anything, it is this: making time for the people you love is one of the best investments you can make. The memories you create and the relationships you nurture are treasures you will never regret.
